Through the ashes
Through the ashes and bones of the ancestors it rises, through the cairn in an ancient burial ground full of offerings to the ancestors and the Gods.
This is the visual I am hoping to achieve with my latest piece. I am 5’3(and a half) standing straight and here it is beside me, the top of my largest tree yet. This piece features over 1,000 gemstones, fossils at the roots, over 10 pounds of 16 gauge black steel, over 100 feet of stainless and surgical stainless steel, bones, and of course some feathers.
